In the heart of Ciociaria, with one of the oldest olive growing traditions in Italy, the Quattrociocchi family has devoted itself to the cultivation of this "treasure" since 1888: the result is a genuine, high quality oil in full respect of tradition. Quattrociocchi Olivastro extra virgin olive oil - from Itrana monocultivar - excites us for its extraordinary and elegant expression of character, with an intense fruity taste and fresh Cuore di Bue tomato notes, which call to mind the nuances of this sauce vegetable from Lazio.

Tasting Notes

Quattrociocchi's Olivastro extra virgin olive oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color with delicate green tones. The nose is ample and enveloping, with elegant hints of medium ripe tomato, white apple, banana and aromatic notes of basil, mint and parsley. The mouthfeel is fine and complex, characterized by vegetable tones of chicory and broad beans, lettuce and celery. Bitterness and pungency are present and balanced, with sweet aftertaste nuances.
