Depalo "Danae" extra virgin olive oil is cold-extracted monocultivar oil made solely from the Ogliarola Barese variety. The olives harvested on the Depalo family land are taken to the oil mill immediately about 2 hours later, to be milled in the continuous-cycle two-phase system which produces a very high quality extra virgin oil.
Tasting notesDepalo "Danae" extra virgin olive oil is a delicate oil with a slightly fruity aroma. The opening taste is bitter and spicy, then opening up to the sweetness of unripe almonds and artichoke.
