Mieli Thun

Mieli Thun is the story of a company that stands out as one of the best known in the Italian landscape for its production of fine honey, and marked by the noble art of bee-keeping.

A business born almost by chance, in the 1990s, in a tiny village in Trentino Alto Adige, and managed by Andrea Paternoster, a bee-keeper who, after finding a few dormant hives his grandfather left in the 1920s, changed the way we think about and approach honey, by inheriting the ideas, tradition, beauty and never-ending love for bee-keeping from his family, with the aim of enhancing honey as standalone ingredients with many different possibilities in the kitchen.

A unique, yet very old business, marked by nomad bee-keeping with honey coming only from the Italian territory, and carefully processed through methods that stand out for their innovation and complete synergy with nature.

Today, the company is managed by 10 people who cultivate the love for this peculiar product every single day, by studying its many properties.
