Mieli Thun chestnut honey is a precious family jewel made from chestnut flowers whose properties are very important for our well-being. Chestnut honey is harvested in the best months between June and July in unspoilt locations that yield a genuine product with very dark and intense amber hues and fragrant notes of dried chamomile, over which animal, tannic and cinchona odours prevail. On the palate, there is a bitterish flavour with notes of wood, wet tobacco, carob and cocoa bean ideal for accompanying various culinary dishes.
