Pujje

Pujje is an oil company located in the province of Taranto, in the heart of the "land of olive trees" - Apulia. The company's olive grove consists of about 12,000 trees of 8 different cultivars, including Coratina and Ogliarola Salentina, which are typical of the area that stretches along the Murgia Tarantina, a hill complex that represents the continuation of the Murgia plateau.

The founders of Pujje, three young people - an agronomist, a manager and a communications professional - who, in love with their land, have put together their love for it and their desire to enhance it, with their work experiences, creating a reality that today has the mission of telling the story and values of Puglia.

Quality extra virgin olive oil is a well-known yet undervalued product all over the world. This is why Pujje seeks to tell the story of the variety and versatility that quality extra virgin olive oil can have on everyone's table.
Production is taken care of in every detail starting with the cultivation of olive trees that are followed with an eye toward tradition but using modern tools. The same care is applied during the harvesting season, when the olives are milled in the company's own modernized olive press, with a continuous cycle system for cold extraction. Once harvested, the olives are processed within a few hours, to preserve their freshness and fragrance.

Pujje oils are a strong reminder of their origins; in fact, they are named after the Greek gods of three of Apulia's symbolic elements - the sea, the earth and the sun. Pujje's oils are quality extra virgin olive oils that anyone who is fond of Puglia and its very special varieties must try.
