Miceli&Sensat
Miceli & Sensat was founded by Paolo Miceli and Sergio Sensat, two successful entrepreneurs with extensive experience in extra virgin olive oil production. Paolo's family has been cultivating olive groves on its land in Sicily for generations, so they decided to join forces and realise a project for a modern, state-of-the-art company that would highlight the great Sicilian tradition in extra virgin olive oil production. In the province of Palermo, around 115 hectares of land are now cultivated with 46,000 olive trees of five varieties: Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla, Cerasuola, Piqual and Arbequina, all organically grown with respect for the land. The land of the Miceli & Sensat company is located in a unique area surrounding Lake Garcia, and the southern exposure and the presence of artificial lakes create perfect conditions for growing olive trees, even if they are of different varieties. Miceli & Sensat is a company that on paper is very young but which has behind it the great experience of its founders who have learnt in the field, enabling them to create a company that respects the canons of sustainability thanks to innovation, but above all a way of working that takes total care of the surrounding area thanks to the conviction that what they have around them should not be taken for granted but should be used with great awareness and respect.
