Giorgio Franci, appointed a Hero of Made in Italy by Gambero Rosso, is an internationally recognized protagonist of the Italian food culture. This oil excites us because it is able to bring out the individual particular characteristics of the cultivars of which it is composed. The aromas and fragrances of the Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino varieties alternate harmoniously, with the Olivastra Seggianese finally taking over, and taking us to the slopes of Monte Amiata to breathe in ample herbaceous and balsamic notes.
Tasting Notes
Franci's Bio organic extra virgin olive oil is an intense limpid golden yellow color with light green hues. Its aroma is ample and rounded, with rich vegetable hints of artichoke, chicory and wild thistle, together with balsamic notes of rosemary and mint. The mouthfeel is elegant and prominent, with tones of lettuce, black pepper and a distinct almond finish. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
