From the passion of generations of pharmacists, in a strip of land between Trapani and Marsala, the Titone family has been producing quality oil since 1936, in respect of the environment and with an eye to human health. The oil mill was indeed one of the first in Sicily to convert to organic farming: this is the source of the Cerasuola extra virgin olive oil. It is produced from olives harvested while still very green from October 10 to 28, 2018 and exclusively by hand. The olives are then processed within 2/6 hours of harvesting. An oil that speaks on behalf of the millennial scents of this part of Sicily. The territory of the province of Trapani is the land of the good oil, here the olive growing has ancient roots. What we like about this oil is its very high quality, in the name of wellbeing and respect for the environment: a limpid product, representative of ancient olive-growing traditions that this land still embodies.
Tasting Notes
The Cerasuola extra virgin olive oil is a medium/intense fruity, the nose opens complex and balsamic with nuances of wild broom, green banana and black celery. The taste confirms its fullness and a particular elegance, with sapid, spicy and aromatic notes. Bitterness and pungency are present and balanced.
