In the heart of Ciociaria, with one of the oldest olive growing traditions in Italy, the Quattrociocchi family has devoted itself to the cultivation of this "treasure" since 1888: the result is a genuine, high quality oil in full respect of tradition. This is where Quattrociocchi's "Classico" Bio extra virgin olive oil was born, a blend created by the genius of the Master Oil Maker in generating a delicate balance between different cultivars, in this case Itrana and Moraiolo. An oil that excites us because it is highly selected, medium fruity, cold pressed from olives grown exclusively on the family's organic farm: a product dedicated to well-being and taste while respecting the surrounding environment, as dictated by the Quattrociocchi philosophy.
Tasting Notes
Quattrociocchi Classico Bio is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color with greenish hues. The nose is fine and enveloping, with ample fruity tones of unripe tomato, lettuce and artichoke, accompanied by fresh hints of mint, basil and sage. The mouthfeel is elegant and vegetable, with hints of chicory, lettuce and celery. Bitterness is present, along with a harmonious pungency.
