The Marina Palusci oil mill produces oils in the heart of Abruzzo, on the Pianella hills, between the Adriatic Sea and the Majella National Park. In this area, dominated above all by the Dritta and Leccino varieties, the Marina Palusci extra virgin olive oil is a valid expression of the typical oil of this area. A product that excites us because it is characterised by an intense fruity note of green olives accompanied by a good bitterness and spiciness: the result is a crude and turbid oil, but hypnotic in its scents and on the palate. The oil comes from the Dritta and Leccino olive groves using olives at the right point of veraison, pressed in the traditional mill and bottled immediately to obtain the best of Abruzzo extra virgin olive oil.
Tasting notes
Marina Palusci "EXV" extra virgin olive oil It is a beautiful intense golden yellow colour with light green hues, limpid. Its aroma is definite and rotund, rich in vegetal hints of artichoke and wild chicory, accompanied by notes of officinal herbs, with distinct hints of mint and rosemary. The taste is broad and very fine, with tones of field lettuce and spicy nuances of cinnamon and almond on the finish. Bitterness and pungency present and well expressed.
