Trappeto di Caprafico is a company with a history of more than a hundred years, years in which the Masciantonio family has dedicated to the cultivation of olives for the production of an excellent extra virgin olive oil. A decisive role in the history of the company was played by the purchase of the oil mill immediately after the war and the technological innovations made during the following decades.
Tasting notes
L’Olio extra virgin olive oil is the combination of the pressing of different varieties cultivated by Gentile di Chieti, Intosso and Leccino. The scent is sweet and fruity with strong notes of almond while the taste is typically almondy, spicy and bitter are in harmony.
