The family that runs Azienda Agricola Parovel, originally from Slovenia and now active in the province of Trieste, has a centuries-old history. In the 1970s it was Zoran and his wife Rosa who brought the first extra virgin olive oil of the Bianchera-Belica cultivar to the market.
Tasting notes
The Pétka di Parovel extra virgin olive oil shows a yellow-green nuance of good fluidity and balanced intensity. The bouquet is light fruity of mature green type with hints of tomato leaf, almond, apple and aromatic herbs. The taste is balanced, in the initial phase it is sweet with bitter and spicy notes and an aftertaste of tomato, field grass and almond.
