Description

In 2002, Tenuta la Pennita began the production of extra virgin olive oil thanks to the passion of Gianluca Timudei who wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father Edmeo. After buying the small oil mill and meeting Alina, who came from a family dedicated to oil production, they began to invest in experimentation for the production of a high quality oil.

Tasting notes

Poggio al Monte extra virgin olive oil is obtained from a blend of the Correggiolo and Nostrana cultivars. Its colour is clear, yellow with green reflections. The scent is characterized by notes of tomato and artichoke, in the mouth emerge spicy and bitter notes.
