Description

The Zahar farm, a family-run business where Tania puts all her passion, lies in a small hamlet on the border between Friuli-Venezia-Giulia and Slovenia The undisputed quality of Zahar's extra virgin olive oil is also due to the company's decision to adopt organic cultivation methods. The cultivation of the Bianchera Belica variety, typical of the area and a Slow Food presidium, gives the company added value.

Tasting notes

Snožak extra virgin olive oil is produced entirely from the Bianchera Belica variety, typical of North-Eastern Italy, which is perfectly suited to the mild climate due to the proximity of the sea and the bora wind, which helps to lower the percentage of humidity. The nuance is intense green, the nose has hints of tomato leaf, green almond, artichoke, herbs and pepper. The mouthfeel is balanced bitterness and pungency.
