Galantino's Fruttato Medio extra virgin olive oil is one of the many products that the Galantino family has been producing since the 1920s, when Vito bought the mill and converted it into a Frantoio. Still today, as in the past, the Galantino company supplies itself not only with its own olives from the estate purchased in the 1960s, but also with olives from 2000 trusted producers.
Tasting Notes
Galantino's Fruttato Medio extra virgin olive oil is part of the Classici company's range; cold pressed oil from two of the most typical varieties of Apulia, Ogliarola and Coratina. The perfect balance of these two cultivars with opposite characters makes the Fruttato Medio a perfect and balanced oil for daily use at the table. The color is golden yellow with greenish olive highlights, the aroma is distinctly olive and the flavor is fruity with a hint of artichoke and an almond aftertaste.
