The Nocellara extra virgin olive oil is born from the passion and dedication of the Titone family. After years of being pharmacists, in 1936 the family devoted itself to the cultivation of 5000 olive trees sown in 19 hectares of land between the province of Trapani and Marsala. Starting from the 80's the family made an important step in the history of the company, and they converted to organic farming with the aim of reusing all the remains of the production cycle such as pruning, pomace and vegetation water. Today, the Azienda Agricola Biologica Titone produces about 10,000 liters of organic extra virgin olive oil annually.
Tasting Notes
Titone's Nocellara extra virgin olive oil is a monovarietal oil produced from the Nocellara del Belice cultivar. This oil fascinates us because it has a strong nose, reminiscent of tomato and green leaf with some balsamic hints. The vegetable notes are also widely perceived on the palate, with hints of bitterness and spiciness.
