Description
Marfuga's "Novello" extra virgin olive oil is, as the name suggests, the first oil of the new vintage. It is obtained from the first olives harvested by hand before the actual harvest. The "Novello" extra virgin olive oil is bottled unfiltered, to preserve all its chemical and organoleptic properties.
Tasting Notes
The oil is distinguished by its intense green color with herbaceous scents; the mouthfeel has hints of artichoke with a slight bitter and spicy.
Pairings
It is perfect used raw on toasted bread, bruschetta and Umbrian panzanelle or on red meat, and is also ideal for seasoning vegetable and legume soups.
