Frantoio Galantino was born from the farsightedness of Vito Galantino who, in the 1920s,filled with passion and being an oil expert, decided to buy a mill and transformed it into an oil mill.
In 1960, the Galantino family took over the "La Fenice" estate and began cultivating 47 hectares of olive groves. From then on, the Galantino family led the company to develop further and further, registering the Galantino trademark in 1985 and winning numerous awards. Today, Frantoio Galantino can boast a large and vast range of products, from extra virgin olive oils in different formats, organic and PDO certified, flavored and spiced oils and various gift boxes with different assortments.
Tasting Notes
The Biologico extra virgin olive oil is a first quality extra virgin olive oil, cold extracted produced from olive trees grown strictly following the rules of organic farming. The cultivars used are the Coratina and the Ogliarola; it is a fruity extra virgin olive oil with herbaceous notes. It fascinates us for its golden nuance with olive green reflections and for its fruity taste with almond aftertaste.
