In Alberobello, in the Murgia Barese, Frantoio Intini has been producing quality olive oil since 1928: passing from Pietro's experience to Piero's innovation, the family has given life to real liquid treasures, among which the Intini Affiorato extra virgin olive oil stands out. A product that was born from the ancient peasant tradition of collecting the oil that naturally emerged from the olive paste just milled by hand, in the hills of Alberobello. We particularly like this oil for the scents obtained and released, thanks to the blend of indigenous Olivastra, Coratina and Picholine cultivars: from tomato leaf to mown grass, Intini's Oro lets us walk among the trulli, inside this land, prince of thousand-year-old olive trees.
Tasting Notes
The Oro di Intini extra virgin olive oil has a medium/intense fruity nose characterized by green aromas that refer to tomato, artichoke, almond and cut grass. On the palate Enveloping and energetic, with well-perceived bitter tones, it releases stimulating spicy sensations.
