Since 2012, in the hills of Pesaro, a group of local enthusiasts, including entrepreneurs, agronomists and olive growers, have decided to bring together all their professional skills to create an extra virgin olive oil that represents the nature, scents and flavors of this area. This is where Emozione olio comes from, a project according to which oil should be "listened to", like a work of art. This is how Massimo Marconi's Risveglio extra virgin olive oil comes to life: a product derived from the Raggiola - a typical Marche cultivar -reawakened to express all its potential. We love this oil with its perfect combination of bitterness and spiciness, in which notes of almond, apple, artichoke and rosemary rise to the fore.
Tasting Notes
Massimo Mosconi's Risveglio extra virgin olive oil is a beautiful, limpid, intense golden yellow color with greenish hues. The nose is full and complex, rich in scents of artichoke and chicory, complemented by notes of mint, rosemary and sage. Enveloping and ample on the palate, it has tones of lettuce and distinct hints of black pepper and almond. Marked bitterness and strong spiciness.
