Description

Quattrociocchi's Superbo Bio extra virgin olive oil fascinates us for its bold and enveloping nature, a typical characteristic of its cultivar of origin, the Moraiolo. From such a valuable variety, we obtain this oil of very high quality and high production. Connoisseurs in particular love its fruity flavor, with a bitter and slightly spicy aftertaste.

Tasting Notes

Quattrociocchi Superbo Bio extra virgin olive oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color with light green hues. Its aroma is full and complex, rich in scents of freshly mown grass and chicory, together with clear aromatic notes of mint and rosemary. Ample and characterful on the palate, it has tones of artichoke, lettuce and hints of black pepper, unripe almond and cinnamon. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.

Matching

It is perfect for tuna appetizers, raw meat carpaccio with porcini mushrooms, swordfish marinades, lentil soups, first courses with artichokes, boiled octopus, stewed game birds or animals, mature spun curd cheeses.
