The De Carlo family, Master Millers since the 18th century, guarantee the excellence of extra virgin olive oil with continuity and innovation: experimenting with new technologies, passing from the love for every single plant in the oil mill to the art of modern mechanics, the De Carlo family gives life to high quality products. This is how De Carlo's Terra di Bari Tenuta Torre di Mossa extra virgin olive oil was born: Torre di Mossa is the "historic" farm of the De Carlo family, as is the cultivar from which this extra virgin olive oil is made, the Coratina. The oil, pride of the family, excites us for its characteristics in terms of aromas and fragrances, for the rather fruity and deep, bitterish and spicy flavors, as the Coratina has commanded for centuries.
Tasting Notes
The Terra di Bari Tenuta Torre di Mossa oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color with warm green nuances; the nose is full and elegant, rich in notes of artichoke, chicory and lettuce, together with clear hints of black pepper and almond. The mouthfeel is endowed with an ample balsamic flavor of officinal herbs, with hints of basil and mint, rosemary and sage. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
