In the countryside surrounded by mountains on the northern tip of Lake Garda, the Trentino OlioCru oil company presents us with a range of high quality oils: among these is Casaliva De Origini extra virgin olive oil, an oil from pitted olives, with aromas of cut grass and unripe almonds. A product that fascinates us because it speaks of its origins through the bitter and spicy notes that recall the terraced countryside. The wonderful range of aromas and flavors comes from a careful selection of monocultivar olives of the Casaliva variety, processed with the most modern production technologies, in order to ensure the final customer the highest quality standards of the cultivar.
Tasting Notes
OlioCru Casaliva De Origini oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color and hints of green. The nose is ample and strong, rich in balsamic hints of mint and rosemary, complemented by distinct notes of freshly mown grass, almond and black pepper. Enveloping and full of character on the palate, it features tones of artichoke and thistle, lettuce and chicory. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
