Frantoio Romano selects and carefully processes its olives from secular olive groves with twisted trunks and characteristic silver leaves in the Samnium area, to give origin to the "Green Gold of Sannio": along the Beneventane Hills, Frantoio Romano’s Riserva extra virgin olive oil is born. A product that we particularly like thanks to the fine organoleptic qualities deriving from the Ortice cultivar. The oil is in fact a nectar with an unmistakable taste and a wide and elegant fresh tomato that immerses us in the ancient traditions of the Samnites.
Tasting notes
Frantoio Romano's Racioppella extra virgin olive oil has a clear emerald green colour. To the nose it expresses a medium-intense fruitiness reminiscent of olice that are still green, the scent of unripe tomato stands out, accompanied by herbaceous notes of artichoke, celery, unripe fruit. The delicate taste opens with hints of sweet and bitter followed by the note of unripe banana to close with a spicy note.
