Frantoio Romano selects and carefully processes its olives from secular olive groves with twisted trunks and characteristic silver leaves in the Samnium area, to give origin to the "Green Gold of Sannio": along the Beneventane Hills, Frantoio Romano’s “Gold” extra virgin olive oil is born. The oil - a blend of multiple cultivars that are typical of the area in which it is produced - excites us for the balance between the many varieties. An unparalleled product with hints of field vegetables, whose name brings to mind both its color and its regal quality.
Tasting Notes
Frantoio Romano's Gold oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color with greenish nuances; its aroma is ample and enveloping, rich in hints of medium-ripe tomatoes, almonds and black pepper, flanked by notes of artichoke, chicory and lettuce. The mouthfeel is full and strong, with distinct tones of basil, mint and sage. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
