PDO Gaiatto “Roncaccio” extra virgin olive oil. Laghi Lombardi - Lario is obtained from olives of the Frantoio variety, and the Leccino variety in smaller quantities. The olive trees are located at 220 meters above sea level in the Podere Roncaccio di Fiumelatte, one of the most northern cultivation areas in Italy. Here, the microclimate - even though the geographical position for the olive tree is extreme - allows a cultivation that favors the processing of noble elements such as oleic acid, in a very high percentage, a typical expression of excellence. We have chosen this oil because it represents the excellence of a territory that requires a lot of work and passion, and the oil produced expresses all this. The difficulties of working in an extremely difficult environment, which is not easily adaptable to mechanization, require a special commitment and dedication that it is no exaggeration to define as true love for one's own territory.
