Quattrociocchi "1o Olio"Primolio extra virgin olive oil, sometimes called Novello, is the name given to the early harvest extra virgin olive oil freshly pressed from green olives; this oil, which celebrates the'beginning of the olive harvest season,is produced between late September and early October from Itrana, Frantoio and Leccino olives, grown on the Quattrociocchi estate in Alatri. Tasting Notes
Americo Quattrociocchi's Primolio extra virgin olive oil has a clear green color. The nose is herbaceous and fruity with hints of green olive enriched with complex vegetable notes of freshly cut grass and green tomato, while the taste is typically robust and spicy with a pleasantly sharp and peppery finish. Bitterness and pungency are balanced and persistent.
