Torretta Teti extra virgin olive oil - We have chosen it, because of its great elegance, which makes it suitable for any food preparation. Torretta’s Teti extra virgin olive oil is a multivarietal Rotondella blend, with Carpellese and Frantoio additions, and is produced with olives that grow on olive trees at 100/200 meters above sea level on the hills of Salerno. The name Teti comes from Greek mythology: she was the most beautiful of the Nereids, the nymphs of the seas, daughters of Nereus and Doris, descendants of Ocean. She had the gift of metamorphosis, which added to her appeal.
Tasting Notes
With the fruitiness of green olives, light and strongly herbaceous, shows clear hints of fresh almond and is enriched by notes of artichoke and apple. These scents are confirmed on the palate, which is pleasantly sweet, with light and well-balanced notes of bitterness and spiciness that give the product an elegant freshness.
