Sabino Leone “La Berafatt" extra virgin olive oil is a monocultivar of Carolea, a centuries-old cultivar native to Calabria and adopted throughout southern Italy. The Carolea is an olive tree with a remarkable erect posture and enlarged bearing that makes the plant majestic. The drupe is medium-large, very pulpy and beautiful to look at. Called in the dialectal Canosa name "La Berafatt" or La Bella because of its beauty.
Gentleness and grace, sinuosity and seduction of the maiden unaware of her unripe beauty, in the fruity taste of green apple with hints of tomato leaves and white fruit. The mouthfeel is sweet, aromatic, with aroma of thyme and marjoram.
