Giorgio Franci, appointed a Hero of Made in Italy by Gambero Rosso, is an internationally recognized protagonist of the Italian food culture. Frantoio Maremmano is father to many excellent oils, including the Toscano Frantoio extra virgin olive oil, thanks to Giorgio’s work philosophy: to make high quality extra virgin olive oil something that is accessible to all. From the wise balance between Tuscan tradition and technique, comes this timeless product, which, in its golden colors and hints of field typical of the Frantoio cultivar, speaks the language of Val d’Orcia, a place where man and the products of Nature live in total harmony.
Tasting Notes
Frantoio Franci's 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil is limpid, with a deep golden color and light green nuances; its aroma is full and enveloping, with clear scents of chicory, artichoke and lettuce, together with aromatic tones of mint, rosemary and sage. Broad and characterful on the palate, it is enriched with notes of black pepper, cinnamon and almond. Very pronounced bitterness and strong spiciness.
