Fratelli Pinna Maccia D'Agliastru is a superior quality monocultivar extra virgin olive oil made from Bosana olives, the most typical variety of Sardinia. The olives used for oil production are cultivated in a natural way according to integrated farming systems. Olives are picked when their color changes from green to brownish red and immediately transferred to the oil mill. The extraction of the oil takes place within a few hours to avoid any alteration of the product.
Tasting Notes
Fratelli Pinna Maccia d'Agliastru extra virgin olive oil has a light golden yellow color and is limpid to the eye; with equally light and delicate scents of olive, and notes of white fruit reminiscent of banana and apple. It is a harmonious and well-balanced oil to the taste, although it has very definite and marked fruity sensations, and in particular vegetable hints of artichoke and almond. It stands out for its elegance and finesse, with a pleasant spicy note on the finish.
