Today, Frantoio Galioto's Moresca extra virgin olive oil is its flagship product. A complex and articulated oil, far from the idea of Moresca that there was in the past. This variety retains its perfumes for a much longer time than a Tonda Iblea, which fascinates more at first with its hint of tomato, but quickly loses its aroma. The Moresca olive can also be enjoyed as a black table olive.
Tasting Notes
The Moresca oil has a medium-intense fruity taste, rich in nuances, from nettle to thistle, from green tomato to myrtle leaf, which translate into a mouthfeel with pleasant, dynamic and extremely elegant bitter and spicy sensations.
