The most valuable products are handed down from ancient kingdoms: this is the story of Fratelli Pinna’s Bosana extra virgin olive oil from pitted olives, obtained from Roman emperors’ favorite cultivar. Olive oil from pitted olives is a high quality product in which the olive pulp is separated from the stone before being pressed. Lacking the tannic substances and polyphenols of the stone, it is extremely delicate. This is why we are enthusiastic about Fratelli Pinna oil: an absolute sweetness, with hints of white fruit and flowers, capable of transmitting elegance and finesse in a single taste.
Tasting Notes
Fratelli Pinna’s Bosana extra virgin olive oil from pitted olives is an intense limpid golden yellow color with light green hues. On the nose it is strong and enveloping, rich in notes of celery and lettuce, together with aromatic hints of basil and parsley. The mouthfeel is elegant and ample, with tones of unripe tomato and fruity hints of white apple and banana. Bitterness and pungency are present and harmonious, with a prominent sweet aftertaste.
