From a rich land with a strong olive-growing tradition comes a rich oil: Ferrara Posta Locone extra virgin olive oil owes its name to the district where the Ferrara family's olive groves are located, in Puglia. Apart from indicating the place of origin, the name also expresses the Apulian personality of this product: a monocultivar oil from tufaceous soil with clay fractions that emphasizes the enveloping and persistent character, with a strong taste, of the Coratina variety from which it derives.
Tasting Notes
Posta Locone oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color and greenish nuances; the nose is strong and enveloping, rich in vegetable scents of artichoke, chicory and lettuce, with clear spicy tones of almond, cinnamon and black pepper. The mouthfeel is fine and complex, with hints of mint and rosemary. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
