The Casaliva variety, typical of Lake Garda, is the source of Comincioli's Casaliva extra virgin olive oil. The oil mill, in business for 14 generations, transmits devotion and passion in its work to obtain excellent products in harmony with the surrounding environment. In every drop of Casaliva, Comincioli puts part of its philosophy: oils from pitted olives are the result of the Company’s belief, aimed at maximizing the organoleptic and qualitative components that characterize Comincioli's extra virgin olive oils. What fascinates us most about this oil, is the power with which the delicacy of the Casaliva cultivar springs forth, with its persuasive notes of green clover.
Tasting Notes
Comincioli's Casaliva oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color and greenish hues; its aroma is strong and balsamic, rich in hints of artichoke and chicory, together with tones of mint, rosemary and sage. Its mouthfeel is enveloping and fine, with notes of thistle, lettuce and spicy nuances of black pepper, cinnamon and almond. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
