In the 1960s, Vincenzo Marvulli bought a piece of land in Matera and dedicated himself to the cultivation of olives, and the Coratina variety in particular: this is where the Cenzino Coratina extra virgin olive oil (from the diminutive of Vincenzo, its producer) was born, a monovarietal oil of extraordinary performance that strikes us for its intense fruity, spicy and bitterish flavor. A product with a powerful character, authentic like the Sassi of this ancient city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Tasting Notes
Marvulli Cenzino Coratina oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color with delicate green hues; the nose is elegant and strong, rich in balsamic hints of mint and rosemary. Enveloping and complex on the palate, it has tones of lettuce, artichoke, chicory and a clean black pepper, almond and cinnamon aftertaste. Powerful bitterness and distinct well-harmonized spiciness.
