Thanks to the great passion transmitted by the head of the family, Pasquale, the di Russo farm was born in 2008 when Cosmo decided to renew the family tradition, dedicated to olive growing for generations. Between Gaeta and Itri, the oil mill production has its roots in this territory where the native Itrana cultivar dominates unchallenged. We like Cosmo di Russo’s Colline Pontine Don Pasquale extra virgin olive oil, because it is the result of a expert mix of territory and climate; between the hills, the limestone sand and the proximity to the sea, this PDO oil releases the taste and power of the Itrana variety in every bite.
Tasting Notes
The Colline Pontine Don Pasquale extra virgin olive oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color and light green reflections. The nose is ample and enveloping, rich in hints of medium ripe tomato and fruity notes of banana and white apple. Full and elegant on the palate, witharomatic nuances ranging from tomato, apple to refreshing almond.Very pronounced bitterness and strong and balanced spiciness.
