For the Fazari family, the name Micu has a high sentimental, distinctive and historical value: it was Domenico Fazari’s nickname, born in 1906, breeder and farmer, father of 10 children, founder in 1940 of the olive farm. In order to produce this limited edition, only 1906 x 50 cl. bottles were made, by selecting the best olives from an indigenous variety he loved so much- Ottobratica - complemented by a small percentage of Cassanese variety. Each bottle is sold in a gift box with cardboard case.
Tasting Notes
The olives from which the MICU 1906 extra virgin olive oil was produced were in perfect health, and yielded an exceptional oil of medium fruitiness, pronounced herbaceous hints and a distinct tomato note with a hint of spiciness and a very balanced bitterness.
