"La Marchia", an ancient term for the Marche region, is a region characterized by the production of precious and sought-after oils. Among these, thanks to the Del Carmine Oil Mill, "monocultivar " oils stand out: they are extracted from a single cultivar that is kept in purity in the Oleo de La Marchia. Del Carmine's Oleo della Marchia extra virgin olive oil is produced from the same olives on the hills of Ancona. We like it, because it releases the characteristics of the variety from which it derives, the Ascolana Tenera: the oil is enveloping, rich in ample and strong sensations that recall the distinct vegetable, fruity and balsamic notes typical of the cultivar.
Tasting Notes
Oleo della Marchia oil is an intense limpid golden yellow color with greenish nuances. The nose is strong and broad, with fruity hints of medium ripe tomato, banana and white apple. The mouthfeel is complex and full of character, with notes of fresh broad beans, lettuce and celery and balsamic hints of basil, parsley and mint. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
