Sunalle

Sunalle is the story of the Urrai family, which over the years has managed to tell the story, culture and tradition of a food that has become a symbol of Sardinian gastronomic culture: pane Carasau. So in 1991, Sara and Maria decided that in addition to being sisters-in-law, it was time to also be partners in a large, common and unique project that maintained its own identity.

With the help of family members, they took over an old bakery, giving life to a family business that has evolved over time to become the leading company in the production of Carasau bread in Sardinia, launching several projects for the industrialisation of production processes while respecting the tradition of a bread that is a symbol of the island. With new development and design ideas, they chose a larger premises to accommodate more employees, naming it Sunalle, which symbolises the part of the wheat stalk that remains in the field after harvesting.

 Thus was born a company whose motto invites the appreciation of tradition in a contemporary key, the most modern bread is the oldest bread. Yes, because to this day, Sunalle continues to work the same bread according to the traditional four-step method that makes them unique and distinctive in the area. Thanks to the enormous success made up of passion and constant commitment, Sunalle decided to expand its production lines by proposing, in addition to the Classic line, the Wellness, Snack and Spicy lines, widening the breadth of choice to those who cannot give up the taste of this Sardinian excellence.
