Testa Conserve

Testa Conserve is the story of a large family of fishermen crowned by a long tradition dating back more than 200 years, whose boats ply the Sicilian seas in search of the finest blue fish and tuna to make typical Mediterranean cuisine specialities. Their history is linked to Ognina, Ulysses’ ancient port, which in the 14th century became a small harbour from which the Testa family built the pillars of this splendid reality made of dedication, hard work and tenacity.

The family made up of Salvatore, Giuseppe, Concetto and Antonino decided to establish the Testa Conserve brand in 2017 with the aim of committing themselves to the day-to-day pursuit of creating a complete supply chain, where the final product is fished and processed by the same expert hands, fully reflecting the traditions of the ancient master tuna fishermen.

Over the years, the union of tradition and innovation has resulted in excellent products made with the highest quality ingredients in full respect of tradition, nature and bio-sustainability, telling the story of this Catanese family in writing and bringing the true taste of Sicily to the world.

However, the Testa family firmly believes in artisanal and non-intensive fishing, ensuring the quality of the catch by following the production cycle of marine fauna and operating with transparency and traceability. This results in delicate products with packaging inspired by the Sicilian Art Nouveau style.
