The De Carlo family, Master Oil Millers since the 18th century, guarantee the excellence of extra virgin olive oil with continuity and innovation: experimenting with new technologies, passing from the love for every single plant in the oil mill to the art of modern mechanics, the De Carlo family gives life to high quality products. This is how De CarloTerra di Bari Tenuta Arcamone extra virgin olive oil was born, whose name comes from one of the "historical" farms of the De Carlo family, organically grown since 1990. The cultivar is the Coratina, that in this microclimate expresses the particular characters of its territory concentrating them in a mix of scents and flavors. This is where we developed our passion for this Organic and PDO oil with its strong fruity, bitter and spicy sensations.
Tasting Notes
The Organic Terra di Bari Tenuta Arcamone oil is limpid, with an intense golden yellow color with delicate green reflections. On the nose, it is strong and enveloping, with hints of artichoke and wild chicory, together with rich balsamic notes of mint, rosemary and sage. Ample and full of character on the palate, it has tones of field lettuce and spicy hints of black pepper and almond. Powerful bitterness and strong, harmonious spiciness.
