Dievole is a corner of Tuscany known to be a small paradise on earth, where the dialogue between nature and man is never interrupted: indeed, the name Dievole, comes from the term “Dio vuole” (God willing). Since the 1980s, the wisdom of the Chianti peasant families of the past has once again taken care of the Dievole vineyards, giving life to high quality products: among these, the Toscano extra virgin olive oil, a PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) derived from the region's cultivars such asLeccino, Moraiolo, Frantoio and Maurino. An excellent result that fills us with enthusiasm: what we like about this oil, is the strength with which it conveys the region's tradition of olive groves as a symbol of Tuscan heritage to all mankind:.
Tasting Notes
Dievole Toscano Extra Virgin Olive Oil is limpid, with a beautifully intense golden yellow color and light green reflections; strong and complex on the nose, rich in notes of artichoke and chicory, and full of balsamic hints of mint, rosemary and sage. The mouthfeel is fine and full of character, with tones of lettuce and nuances of cinnamon, black pepper and almond. Powerful bitterness and strong spiciness.
