"Wine is not the only one to sing, oil sings too": Torretta Colline Salernitane Diesis extra virgin olive oil takes inspiration from the words of Pablo Neruda to give us a complex and harmonic product. Like a diesis, this oil comes out of a "classical" intonation to enhance the characteristics of the individual varieties from which it derives. Indeed, the oil is made from a blend ofCarpellese and Rotondella:its unmistakable taste envelops the palate through a sensual harmony of flavors that skillfully blend bitterness and spiciness, well expressed and in balance with the fruitiness.
Tasting Notes
Torretta Diesis oil has a beautiful limpid golden yellow color. The nose is harmonious and very fine, characterized by ample hints of unripe tomato, celery, lettuce and balsamic herbs with basil, mint and parsley in evidence. The mouthfeel is complex, with vegetable tones of mown grass, artichoke and sweet almond notes on the finish. Bitterness and spiciness are moderate and well dosed.
